Novo3 Pty Ltd (“Novo3”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals and handling personal information. Where the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Australian Privacy Principles apply to us, we handle personal information in accordance with those requirements. We also take privacy and security seriously and apply appropriate controls through our internal processes, customer agreements and service delivery practices.


This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information in connection with our website, business operations, and the delivery of our products and services.

The types of personal information we may collect include:

We generally collect personal information directly from individuals, however it may also be collected from customers, authorised representatives, service providers, or publicly available sources.

  • billing, account and payment-related information;
  • records of enquiries, communications, service requests and support tickets;

  • information contained in customer systems, files, emails, applications, backups or environments that we may access when providing support, managed services, cloud, cyber security, migration or related services;
  • website usage information, cookie data, analytics information and marketing preferences; and
  • any other information you or our customers provide to us in connection with our services.

In some cases, we may access or handle personal information incidentally while providing services to a customer. Where this occurs, we handle that information only as required to provide the relevant services, comply with customer instructions, maintain security and availability, and meet our legal or contractual obligations.



4. Disclosure of Personal Information

We may disclose personal information to:

  • our employees and contractors where necessary to provide services
  • third‑party service providers (such as hosting, IT, accounting or professional advisers)
  • government authorities, regulators or law enforcement where required or authorised by law

We do not sell or rent personal information.

Any third parties we engage are required to handle personal information in a manner consistent with Australian privacy law.


5. Customer and Client Data

In providing IT, managed services or related professional services, Novo3 may handle personal information on behalf of customers as part of customer systems or environments.

In these circumstances:

  • Novo3 acts in accordance with customer instructions and contractual arrangements
  • ownership and control of customer data remains with the customer
  • Novo3 uses such information solely for the purpose of delivering the agreed services

6. Data Storage and Location

We primarily store and process personal information in Australia.

Some service providers we use may store, access or process information outside Australia, including where cloud, support, security, analytics, communications or other technology services are provided from overseas.

Novo3 does not intentionally disclose personal information to overseas recipients.


7. Security of Personal Information

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

Measures include administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and our services.

While we take security seriously, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.


8. Security Incidents and Data Breaches

Not all security incidents involve access to or disclosure of personal information.

Where a security incident occurs, we assess whether it constitutes an eligible data breach under the Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme.

If Novo3 is required by law to notify affected individuals or regulators, we will do so in accordance with the Privacy Act.


9. Website Usage, Cookies and Analytics

Our website uses industry‑standard analytics tools to collect limited information about visitors, including:

  • IP address (anonymised where possible)
  • browser type and device information
  • pages visited and interaction data

This information is used to analyse website usage and improve functionality. It is generally collected in aggregated or de‑identified form.

Cookies do not provide us with access to your computer or personal information beyond what you choose to share.


10. Marketing Communications

We may use contact information to send communications about our services where permitted by law.

You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by following unsubscribe instructions or contacting us at privacy@novo3.com.au.


11. Access, Correction and Complaints

You may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you by contacting us.

If you have a complaint about how we handle personal information, please contact us at privacy@novo3.com.au. We will investigate and respond within a reasonable timeframe.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will be published on our website.
